Am 5.2.2016 waren die "Ladies in Dead" vom Verein "Gaarden liest" in die Stadtteilbücherei in der Elisabethstraße 64 eingeladen. Leider war Angelika Svensson verhindert, so dass Ute Haese und ich den Abend allein bestritten. Das Publikum war sehr zahlreich erschienen (etwa 60 ZuhörerInnen), und viele schienen sehr begeistert. Es war ein sehr schöner Abend mit engagierten Streiterinnen für die Lesekultur in Kiel-Gaarden, die unbedingt eine Unterstützung für ihre wertvolle Bibliotheksarbeit verdienen. Die frisch renovierte Stadtteilbücherei ist allen KielerInnen sehr zu empfehlen. Es gibt eine sehr gut bestückte Krimiecke, viele neue Medien, Mangas, Kinderbücher, Sachbücher und schöne Literatur und und und... Die Räume sind hell und übersichtlich. Man bekommt sofort Lust sich mit einem Buch ans Fenster zu setzen und auf den Vinetaplatz zu blicken. Das kostet nichts und man muss nichts konsumieren. Es lohnt sich da mal hinzugehen! Sie werden es lieben!
